Sometimes the light of ABSand brake by hand lights togheter. When happens ABS don't work (only the brakes works).Sometimes can explain me why ??I went at a center car for repairing and they saidto me that this lights means that the abs centraline dont'workcorrectly. They want to replace my centraline (at a high cost , about 800 euro). You say that probably the error is caused by other problem. Do you think that I have to change the officine ???Hi, Enrico (Italy). Quote
seatkid Posted January 25, 2005 Report Posted January 25, 2005 A possible culprit is one of the 4 wheel sensors or the wiring. Use the search tool to look for "brake sensor" or "wheel sensor" for example Quote
Topbloke Posted January 25, 2005 Report Posted January 25, 2005 check the sensor rings around each cv joint they are made of aluminium, the joints as cast and they rust causing the rings to split giving a false reading then putting light on Quote
